Scales museum

As a master baker, he had to deal with the precise weighing of ingredients for bread and cakes on a daily basis, which is how he developed his passion for scales. For over 30 years, he has been collecting and restoring very special scales from various countries, mostly at flea markets. The unique collection ranges from apothecary scales and market scales to letter scales from the Napoleonic era. Most of the scales are over 100 years old and still fully functional. Horst Spang has a story to tell about each of his scales!
