The e-bike tour starts at Vitalis in Weiskirchen. The climatic health resort boasts a spa park, the Haus des Gastes and the wildlife and hiking park. The route leads through open countryside via Morscholz into the town of Wadern.
At the market square, the town museum in the Oettinger Schlösschen castle with its adjoining park awaits, along with fine places to stop for refreshments. Weekly and monthly markets round off a stopover. After leaving the town centre, the end of the route and the ruins of Dagstuhl Castle provide an opportunity for another stop. The route continues through the valley of the young Prims past Bardenbach and Büschfeld to Nunkirchen. The Forsthof and the game reserve with its beautiful beer garden and Weiherhof golf park with its panoramic restaurant terrace await you here. Directly behind the game reserve, one of our gourmet stops with regional products invites you to take a break.
The trail now leads through the beautiful forest area of the Lückner to the legendary Odilien Chapel. The water gurgles soothingly from the spring below the chapel before feeding the stream further down. Legend has it that it has healing powers, in particular to restore sight to the blind - which is why people from all over the area have long made pilgrimages here to wash their eyes. The e-bike tour continues through Oppen and Reimsbach along the idyllic Mackenbach stream. In Hargarten, it goes past the lime kiln up to the Hungersberg. From the top you have a fantastic view.
The route continues back down to Rimlingen and through Bachem. Losheim am See is reached through a beautiful section of forest. The route leads through the town centre to the Losheim reservoir. Numerous catering establishments invite you to take a break here. Behind the reservoir, forest and fields alternate elegantly until you reach the starting point in Weiskirchen.
